Our stout "More Complicated Than Your Girlfriend Stout" has been voted the best stout in the world! Wow, we are very happy with this! This beer has already won many awards, but to now call this beautiful beer the Best Stout in the World is of course really great!
This is the first stout I brewed, 6 years ago this beer was still on the test table. At the time I was playing with the right balance of coffee, chocolate and vanilla. I also wanted to give this beer a higher bitterness than most other stouts because, in my experience, this makes the beer more drinkable.
When I look back at all those tests now, I can be happy and grateful about the result and the decisions I made then.
