More Dry And Sour Than Your Mother In Law Saison
Yes, we know, not all mothers-in-law are dry and sour. Some are actually quite tolerable, maybe even sweet. But you know what we mean. Originally an old farm house beer, it is brewed in a traditional Belgian style with Japanese Sorachi Ace hops and spiced with coriander, orange peel and grains of paradise. Thanks to the special yeast, it is dry like English humor. Or your mother-in-law.

Style description: What is actually a Saison?
Saison is what the name implies: a seasonal beer. A Saison is also called a Farmhouse Ale because it used to be brewed and drunk on the farms. The beer was brewed in the winter to be consumed in the summer by the agricultural contractors. Water was of poor quality at the time and beer was a safe drink to keep your thirst away up in those days.
The beer has its roots in Wallonia, but was revived again by the American brewers who brew many variants on this.
The Saison from the Dupont brewery is seen worldwide as a benchmark for this category.
A Saison has a very dry aftertaste, very fresh and slightly sour in character. Saison is a perfect beer for food pairing and goes with many dishes.
